Curriculum Review and Approval
Pella Hill carefully reviews curriculum and educational resources to ensure alignment with our academic standards, biblical values, accreditation requirements, and state expectations. Because these standards may change and resources themselves may evolve over time, curriculum approval is never considered permanent.
We understand that finding a curriculum that works well for a student can be encouraging, and we recognize that changes can sometimes be disappointing. However, participation in Pella Hill requires the use of curriculum and resources that meet the school's current approval standards. When a resource no longer meets those standards, students will need to transition to an approved option.
Our goal is not to create unnecessary change, but to ensure that all students receive an education that reflects the mission and requirements of the school.
Families should understand that curriculum flexibility is an important part of the Pella Hill model. A willingness to adapt when resources are added, revised, or removed will help ensure a successful partnership between the family and the school.
