La Crosse Queen

All aboard! Join Pella Hill for a memorable adventure aboard the La Crosse Queen! Students and families will cruise the Mississippi River aboard an authentic paddlewheel riverboat while taking in the beautiful scenery of the La Crosse area.

Along the way, students will learn about riverboats, the Mississippi River, and the history and geography of the La Crosse area. Come explore, learn, spend time with other Pella Hill families, and make some great memories on the river!

Field Trip Details

WHERE: La Crosse Queen, La Crosse, Wisconsin

WHEN: September 10, 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

ARRIVAL: Please arrive by 10:30 a.m. to allow plenty of time to park, use the restroom, check in, and get settled aboard the boat.

The La Crosse Queen will depart promptly at 11:00 a.m., so please plan accordingly. The boat cannot wait for late arrivals.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Each Pella Hill student may attend with up to two adults, and siblings of Pella Hill students are also welcome to join us for FREE.

Additional guests who are not Pella Hill students or their siblings are welcome to attend at the following rates:

Children: $9 each

Adults: $12 each

FOOD & DRINK: Please have your child eat a snack before boarding. Each child will receive a complimentary soda in a souvenir cup during the cruise. Additional concessions will also be available aboard the boat for purchase.

LUNCH AFTERWARD: Following our cruise, we will head to a nearby park to enjoy lunch together. Additional lunch details will be provided to registered families.
