About the event
Join us for this Beyond the Basics Class where the question gets asked: Have you ever had a million-dollar idea, but wondered if anyone would actually buy it or how you'd even begin to price it? In this course, students will learn the basics of entrepreneurship: identifying a need, naming a product, and creating a simple "launch plan." We will focus on creativity and problem-solving. Students interested in taking their ideas to the next level will have the option to sign up and participate at their local Youth Makers/Craft Fair.
This class will meet one time via zoom on Tuesday September 22nd from 12:30–2:00 p.m. After the virtual class the students will have the opportunity to join their local Youth Fairs. Look for dates and locations of fairs from your teacher!
Your student will be added to this class in their SPARK account, where it will appear on their schedule along with the Zoom link for each class meeting. This class is only open to Pella Hill Virtual Academy students.
Please note that the class date listed above will not automatically populate on your personal calendar. Be sure to add these dates to your calendar so you don’t miss a class.
Pella Hill is covering the cost of this class. This is not coming out of your students provision. Registration includes the class.
Your teacher, Ms. Kelley, will provide any additional instructions for the class.
Registration closes August 28th at 5:00pm to allow enough time for class materials to be ordered and mailed to students before the class begins.
