Meet your teacher!
 

Hi! I’m Kari Prokop, Founder and Director of Pella Hill Virtual Academy. I hold degrees in English and Communication and am currently pursuing a master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies.

 

My career has woven through many roles—from running an animal behavior business to managing a bookstore to leading a pregnancy resource center—but teaching has always been at the core. After homeschooling and virtually schooling two of our four children, I became certified in general and special education and taught in a public virtual school for four years.

 

I love gardening, studying herbs, caring for animals, and reading narrative nonfiction. Above all, I love Jesus and aim to keep Him central in all I do.
