What is National School Choice Week? National School Choice Week is a nationwide, nonpartisan celebration highlighting the many K–12 education options available to families—public, private, charter, virtual, and homeschool. The purpose of NSCW is to celebrate educators, empower parents, and recognize the importance of educational freedom.
Timeline of Events: 1. Guided Capital Tour - 9am - 10am
2. Lunch - details to follow (either packing a sack lunch, or lunch on site)
3. Visit with Legislator, Patrick Testin - time TBD
We are still working out the details on this - more to come closer to the event.
4. Wisconsin State Capitol Celebration - Noon - 1pm
School Choice Wisconsin is proud to host the state’s official event at the Wisconsin State Capital Rotunda on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. The program will feature speakers, student performers, and participants from private choice schools, along with remarks from state elected officials. ***Parental Choice is reimbursing virtual school families for their travel. Each family will receive a $100 gift card that can be picked up at the table upon checking in.***
